Tuning of Electric Bikes
Please be aware that our Trayser ebikes are built in line with existing EU Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Any modification to the bike which increases the power of the motor and/or the top assisted speed of the bike may make the rider liable to prosecution.
Our Raker electric motorbikes are type approved as L1E class vehicles, and are built in line with existing EU regulations. Any modification to the bike which increases the power of the motor or the top assisted speed of the bike may make the rider liable to prosecution and will render his insurance void.
Excluding statutory obligations, ETT Industries will not be held responsible for any injuries incurred following any modification to our products.

Trayser eBikes & Raker electric motorbikes:
Unless faulty, a returned bike must be as new and un-ridden – Please ensure that the size is correct and that you are happy with your bike before riding it.
Bikes must be returned to us in the original box, with all protective internal packing still in place on the bike to protect it from scratches and damage. The box must be re-sealed securely to fully-protect the bike on its return journey.
If accessories have been fitted to the bike, then it is no longer new and will result in a reduction in your refund amount.
If the bike is returned to us, is found not to be faulty, and is not in an as-new condition, you will receive a full refund, less the return shipping cost.
You will need to pay the cost of returning goods to us and the following will apply:
eBikes [eg Trayser] – A £50 charge will be applied. We will arrange a courier to collect the bike from you. Do not ship it to us via a third party.
eMotorbikes [eg Raker] – A £100 charge will be applied. We will arrange a courier to collect the bike from you. Do not ship it to us via a third party.
Accessories – these can be mailed directly to us at the address below, but you must have a completed returns form and we would recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

If you live locally you could return the item in person to our Offices in Islington. We are open:
Monday – Friday
9:00am – 5:00pm.
Our Team will take charge of your purchases and give you a receipt. Please note it will still take 5 working days to process your return.
A replacement item will automatically be ordered and we will advise you of the expected delivery date. If for whatever reason this date is not acceptable to you then please inform us using the Contact Us page on this site and we will cancel the replacement order and refund you for the cancelled item, less the cost of return shipping.
You have the right to withdraw from your purchases within 14 days. This “cooling off” period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods.
Please note, you may not use goods that you have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase.
If you are returning an unwanted item then you will need to pay the shipping costs to return it to us. You must remember to follow the returns procedure and complete a returns form before returning anything.
If the product is a bike, then we will arrange courier collection for it. If it is any other product, you may post it to us, as outlined in the returns instructions. We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items to cover yourself against loss.
If a bike is returned to us and is not in an as-new condition, the product will be accepted, but a reduction made to your refund.
ETT Industries is happy to refund or exchange any item purchased via our online shop, but your return must be within 14 days.
Please ensure you have followed the full returns procedure which will ensure your return can be processed in a timely manner. Returned goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.
Any product not returned in this as-new condition, may be liable to a reduction in the refund amount of up to 50%.
Refund reduction examples:
Bike returned, unopened, exactly as delivered: 100% refund of product value
Bike returned with elements of packaging missing: 75% refund of product value
Bike returned without any packaging: 60% refund of product value
Bike returned with one or more damaged components: 50% refund of product value
All items returned for refund will be closely examined by our staff, and should the refund be less than 100%, the customer will be fully informed as to the reason.
If this is due to missing parts or packaging, the customer will be given up to 14 days to return the missing pieces, to qualify for a full refund.
We will process your return as soon as it arrives – but please allow 7 working days.
All goods supplied by ETT Industries Ltd, that are made by us, are covered by our own warranty. Please refer to your specific product to determine the duration of your product’s warranty.
Fault due to manufacturer defect – we will repair the item under warranty, free of charge and advise you when the item will be ready for collection. If the item cannot be repaired then a suitable replacement will be agreed with yourself. No further discount or partial refund will be offered by way of compensation.
Fault due to customer abuse – we will then advise on the cost of the repair and it will be at your discretion if you wish to have your purchase repaired.
If after following the above procedure you are unhappy with the outcome then please contact us via the Contact Us page on this site – or email us at email@example.com – stating the action you have taken and the reasons you are unhappy.
We will then look into your claim.
